Welcome to our online English teaching academy. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, student dashboard, and live video classes. By creating an account and purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility & Account Registration
1.1. Age Requirement: Our services are designed for teenagers and adults. You must be at least sixteen (16) years old to create an account and participate in our classes. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. 1.2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your student dashboard login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2. Description of Services
2.1. Live Interactive Classes: We provide 100% live, real-time English lessons conducted via our proprietary, end-to-end encrypted browser-based platform. Each lesson lasts exactly 45 minutes. 2.2. No Offline or Downloadable Materials: Our methodology relies entirely on live interaction. We do not provide, nor are you entitled to receive, any downloadable workbooks, offline reading materials, homework PDFs, or access to pre-recorded lessons. 2.3. No Recordings: To protect the privacy of both students and teachers, live lessons are never recorded.
3. Booking & Attending Classes
3.1. Scheduling: All classes must be booked by the student through the interactive calendar located in the student dashboard. 3.2. Class Links: Exactly one (1) hour before your scheduled class time, we will automatically send a secure meeting link to your registered email address. You must use this link to access your live lesson. 3.3. Technical Requirements: It is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection, a functioning webcam, a working microphone, and a compatible web browser to attend the lessons. We are not liable for classes missed due to the student’s hardware or internet failures.
4. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
4.1. Rescheduling: You may reschedule your class without penalty, provided you do so through your student dashboard at least one (1) hour before the scheduled start time. 4.2. Late Cancellations and No-Shows: If you fail to attend a class or attempt to reschedule less than one hour before the start time, the class will be marked as completed and fully charged to your account. No refunds will be provided for missed classes.
5. Payments, Taxes, and Refunds
5.1. Pricing and VAT: All prices are clearly listed at checkout. Depending on your location, our educational services may be VAT exempt. We apply VAT exemptions for students residing in eligible European Union countries in accordance with local tax regulations. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information to determine your VAT status. 5.2. 1-Month Refund Policy: We offer a full reimbursement for purchased lesson packages under the condition that you request the refund within exactly one (1) month (30 days) of your original purchase date. 5.3. Refund Processing: Refund requests must be submitted to our support team. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
6. Student Code of Conduct
6.1. We strive to maintain a safe, respectful, and professional learning environment. 6.2. You agree to treat all instructors and support staff with respect. Harassment, abusive language, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior during live sessions will result in immediate termination of the class without a refund, and potential permanent suspension of your account.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and our proprietary video platform, is the intellectual property of the academy. 7.2. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our website or platform without our express written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that our platform will always be error-free or perfectly secure from external, unforeseen internet outages. 8.2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our educational services.
9. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address registered to your account. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
